    • ANSWER:
Write a grant! You can check with the local United Way on grants that are available in your area. There are soooo many unused/under used federal grants it is amazing. It just takes someone who can follow directions and count.

You may have to find congregation members who have certain credentials, depending on what the gran requirements are. Most grant information is public…at least what you are looking for anyway.

  6. QUESTION:
Where can I live cheaply in the Philippines?
Hi, can anyone tell me where I can live cheaply for 3 months. I am going to visit my Filipino wife in December. I do not want to stay with her relatives. I plan to travel in several areas: Cebu, Batangas, Baguio, Caviti, and Quezon City. I want to spend very little money on this trip. I want to return to live permanently next year. Any information would be helpful. Thank you or email me: jrbertsch@juno.com

    • ANSWER:
Generally living in the provinces/rural areas are waaaay cheaper. But if you are going to live in the city, you could also save a lot of money by finding an apartment or even room for rent owned by private individuals/landlords. For 0/mo. or less, if you are not too picky you will be able to live in a room with 1 or 2 roommates, like in a hostel. For the same price its possible to rent a room on your own, or even a studio type apartment…but the locations may be within areas where the poor may be situated. If you decided to live in a poor community, if you look like a Filipino you will blend right in. Just use common sense when you go out and always make sure your place is secure like windows should have metal bars and the door should have a working lock and deadbolt from inside.

    • ANSWER:

Do an internet search using your Zip code for possible servers.

  8. QUESTION:
How did you move up in Life? How did you get the job of your dreams?
How did you move up in life? How did you get the job of your dreams? Did you get somebody fired? Did you sleep with the boss?
I want to know all the dirty tricks
This is for a project I am doing
email me your stories at tvwn@juno.com

    • ANSWER:
I did not move up in life! Those ups and downs of my life did sort of have a life, at times wondrous at times weird, of their own. Events came to me unexpected, they were not what I had been thinking of; sometimes I gladly welcomed them, at other times I accepted them as a necessary evil. We may say that I was a participating and negotiating witness with the hope of a survival, ever with the hope of a glowing unfolding.

I did no sleep with the boss, I am a man; I did not get anybody fired, I was never a boss or powerful superior. I tried some tricks; some tricks were admired, other tricks were despised; I do not think they were intentionally dirty, they were never dirty at all.

For me it was never easy to get or to keep a job; it was as if all wanted to reject me, to get rid of me, to have me stay away. It was as if I never was sufficiently productive or intelligent; sometimes when I asked if I could help (professionally, for necessary money), they responded that they could not help me.

But I worked as an apprentice (repairing writing machines) and then as a typesetter apprentice composing great books and various printed stuff; then for a couple of years I was a soldier and was dismissed because of not passing military exams; then I worked as a hotel receptionist for many years because I thought I could manage three languages and was learning two more; then as an office clerk in a foreign country; then learning and working about computers; then learning and working as a teacher; then learning and working with three business languages; then (meanwhile) with gardening, while also taking care of my sons and wife and grandchildren (those real bosses of me), then … here I am now an old and nostalgic guy.

I did never ever get the job of my dreams. The job of my dreams would have involved a much higher academic schooling and or some powerful friends / sponsors, patrons.

Yet, I am trying and keeping up the glowing idea that in whatever I am doing and love to do or am supposed to do (must do) I am still and diligently trying and working at building up, or more ardently adding up to, some good events and some wonderful memories for a future. What else ever could I try and possibly do!

      Amen. Have a good laugh.

  10. QUESTION:
What’s a “Mailer Daemon”? And why can’t I send an email to my dad?
When I try to send an email to some people and even my dad at his Juno account, I always get this email saying: …

Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

    :
Mail server for “juno.com” unreachable for too long

    — Or sometimes something about a “Mailer Daemon 554 delivery error”.

    • ANSWER:
“Mailer Daemon” is the sub-program that bounces email back for a variety of reasons.

If you made a typo in your dad’s email address, for instance, and the one you typed does not exist, you’d get the Delivery Error message.

The Unreachable for Too Long message simply means the server at the receiving end was so overloaded at the moment that your email couldn’t even get in line behind thousands of others. Often this clears in a matter of hours, or sometimes a day. Worth trying again.

  11. QUESTION:
Is there a really simple email interface?
My mother uses email (age 95) but since getting DSL, she had to change her email from an old Juno.com format to either the new on-line version or SBC’s Yahoo, or some other type… The new versions have many more options, therefore more confusing… If there is some really basic one, or one with the Compose, Reply, etc really outlined so they are easier to find… Is there a way to make or buy a customized simple version?
How can I make my own email interface?

    • ANSWER:
I use google mail, which is new.

It is sooo simple and easy to use. I would definatly recomend it to anyone how gets lost easily while using the computer. My mom is 55 and constantley says that she is “computer challenged”- but she absolutley loves it.

How do you get involved with Food not Bombs?
The organization to feed the hungry vegetarian food. I live in MA and would like to get involved, does anyone know how?
Well jazzkid…..If everyone eats 10% less meat than they do now, it will be enough grain to feed this country, It is a great organization that also is against animal abuse. If you are hungry you won’t care what the food is, but if you are providing it you should put enough care into it, and not think meat is just more convinent. Also im only 17 and don’t have the money to start this organization, i go to other homeless shelters but this has more meaning

Does anyone know the cheapest airline to book to the Philippines?
I am planning a trip to the Philippines latter this year. However, the prices found on many internet websites are totally ridiculous. I am traveling from LAX to Manila. Does anyone know where I can find reduced rates to cheaper tickets? If so, what airlines are the cheapest for round trip tickets?

    • ANSWER:
Secret – Its not the airlines that give good deals, its the well connected travel agents that work with awesome consolidators. Consolidators get the best deals, so tickets are cheaper. They work with travel agents.

  18. QUESTION:
Does anyone know any Legitamite work from home opportunities?
Yea I guess that pretty much says it, but I’m a new mommy 8 months in and I’m not ready to leave home yet but we also need a little extra cash so I was just wondering if anyone knew any sites that didn’t request u sign up for stuff, or pay any money to work from home?

    • ANSWER:
I work from home with actually two great companies. Both are 100% legit and require NO MONEY being that these are offers of work from home EMPLOYEMENT and not business OPPORTUNITIES.

You will be responsible for doing your own taxes (Independent Contractor / W9).

One is called The Verification Center, in which you simply set appointments for individuals who have already filled out a entry form (leads are provided) and you receive a sliding scale pay based on how many QUALIFIED APPOINTMENTS you set, meaning that you get paid based on how many individuals show up at the appointment which you set and are qualified (which you as the appointment setter are responsible for making sure those that go are qualified).

It’s very simple work and the pay is very nice.

      The pay is as fiollows:
1 QA (Qualified Appointment) is .00
      2 QA’s brings you 0 per QA or 0
      3 QA’s brings you 0 per QA or 0
      4 QA’s brings you 0 per QA or 0
      5+ QA’s brings you 0 per QA or 0 at 5, 0 at 7, 00 at 10 QA’s

There are some reps making 16 appointments per day!

There are NO Lead costs since the company provides the leads, you are paid via direct deposit to your bank account.

There are two distinct pay plans. The first one is the one that I have already shown you in which you are provided with leads to call and the other way is actually having the company set your phone up to receive inbound phone calls (incoming calls) from people submitting their entry. If you opt for that method you will simply be paid a commission of per QA and that’s it (no sliding scale).

With this company I make a little over ,000 per week working full time. You will need to have a computer with high speed Internet access, a flat rate local and long distance calling plan, access to a fax machine and a printer.

Appoinment setting/telemarketing and or sales experience is a plus but the company will overlook lack of experince for the right individuals as they do provide training and support.

If you want further info regarding The Verification Center work form home employment simply send a email to:
lockestar@juno.com attention Shannon and let her know that you are interested in the work from home employment position as a appointment setter.

You can visit the website at http://www.marketstpromo.com although you will need certain passwords to access certain areas (will be provided to you if you are selected for the position).

The other company is called The O.A.S (The Outdoor Advertising Specialists).
This is also very simple work that you can do from home.

This position requires experienced telemarketers to call small business owners to offer an ONLINE Coupon for their Business. It cost the business less than per month and is a VERY Easy Sale.

You could realistically make up to 0 per day or more with this company! The small business owners who want the service will pay 0 and you receive 40% as your commission per sale which is 4 per sale.

The benefits that this company has to offer are:
      Work your own hours.
      40% Commission
      National Company
Performance Based ( Commission Only )
      Start within a WEEKS time!

The Requirements for this position are:

Must be able to make phone calls from your home office.
      Must own a computer.
      Must have fast internet access.
      Must be a self starter.
Must be able to start in a WEEKS timeframe.

You can check out their website @ http://oasphone.tripod.com

You will hear a brief audio message regarding the position and afterwards if you are ready to get started you will send a email to wijobs@theoas.com with “READY TO GET STARTED” in your subject line, supply your name, city, state, email address and phone number and they will send you your 1099 form to fill out (please note that when you send your email you may get a AUTO REPLY notice directing you back to the company website again, if this happens don’t be concerned, the company will have received your email stating that you are ready to get started and will send you out via email your 1099 form to fill out).

Once you fill out the form/s and fax them back to the office you will then be sent via email a time for your training to begin.

Well, that’s it. As I stated, I work with BOTH of these companies and am extremely happy doing so, no commute (except from my bedroom to my home office) and none of the other madness that accompanies dragging oneself to work everyday.

Both companies are honest and 100% legit and cost you nothing to work at home in association with them.

I have looked long and hard for real work form home jobs and MOST of the stuff out there are either SCAMS, RIPP OFFS or want MONEY from you upfront.

If someone is looking for a business opportunity then upfront money and or an investment SHOULD be expected, however, if someone is looking for a work from home JOB then no money should be expected for you to work with them, at least that’s my opinion anyway.

Then again, if someone is looking for a business opportunity to get involved in but the cost to get involved is out of there budget then I would recommend work at home employment with companies such as the two I have provided which would eventually provide the funds needed to get involved with the business opportunity they were originally interested in.

Then again, someone could work for any one or both of the companies that I explained and do so well that they won’t want to do anything else. Hope all this helped!

      To your success!

  19. QUESTION:
How many different email providers are there?
I know this is really random but what are the other email providers besides
    -Gmail

    -Hotmail
    Thanks in advance!

    • ANSWER:
Dude there are millions. Way too many to list. Just think every cell phone provider, every ISP, most businesses, phone companies, cable providers all provide email. There’s also plenty of free ones online like Juno.com, AOL.com, Mail.com, myself.com and the list goes on.

Not knowing what a human is.

    • ANSWER:
Not!, sorry all I’ve read is they have tons of scenses, a snake would probably only see blurred images, wouldn’t want to let it know I’m there. Ask the snake expert at rainforest24@juno.com Let me know if I am safe.

  21. QUESTION:
How can we locate a persons new email address?
Someone we have not had contact with in a few months no longer uses the email we have for them.
Is there a way to locate their new email address?

    • ANSWER:
No listing service so to speak—that would result in mega spam for everyone!
You might get lucky with a blind try. Lets say that the old address you had for your friend was
      “oldfriend@yahoo.com”
You might try different e-mail servers using the same name
      “oldfriend@aol.com”
      “oldfriend@netzero.com”
      “oldfriend@msn.com”
      “oldfriend@quest.com”

Granted there are several thousand servers all over the world but you might get lucky. that is about the only way that you get lucky unless you have a mutual friend who is still in touch.
      juno.com

I am working on a science fair project for a biology class. My group has chosen to test how much faster Venus Flytraps grow when they are fed insects, then when they are not fed. 26. QUESTION:
Does anyone know a creditable, real, on-line way to work from home and make decent money?
I am in great need of finding a good on-line job, I recently lost my 9-5 job and am looking for something better.

  27. QUESTION:
should losing poker players give other players advice on how to play?
I have seen on some poker sites that have message boards that you can give and get advice on how to play hands that people post. You can also go on sharkscope to see if the people giving te advice are winning players or not. For the most part that i have seen thepeople giving advice are losing money. Sometimes as much as 500 dollars or more. Since these players are losing, wouldn’t they be giving them advice that is unworthy of taking. And the majority of these people probally dont realize that these players are losers.

    • ANSWER:
      well this is fantasy sports

but i play poker on full tilt all of the time

the MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE IS BE PATIENT!!!!!
people dont value this….they play low quality hands 9 handed, and get burned

i can give you some advice if you need….

you can look my name up bowal79

I honestly wouldnt pay any money for advice, unless it was to buy a book from a PRO

my advice for making money……play smaller priced tournaments…..i usually play sit and go’s ranging anywhere from 5+.50 to 30+3…..the higher the buy-in, the better the talent is….i usually play 4 tables at once…..(2) 5+.50 and (2)10+1….it makes me only play quality hands…..

my advice……play tight-agressive……my hand selection is very thin, but when i am in a pot, i will play at it, whether i hit it or missed it, because people are unpredictable…..9 handed, i will only play…..any pair, AQ, AK, or suited connectors…..i will fold AJ, KQ, or KJ, or A10 , and especially the OVERRATED QJ….people Value QJ too much…..9 handed, even if the blinds are only 15-30…..onnly because those hands will get you in trouble, ALOT…..i will start playing those hands 5 or 6 handed, when the blinds are bigger, and the DEAD MONEY is out….

when the blinds go up and up, i will play more hands, i will be given the tight image from when there is 9 players to 6 players….and when its 5 handed, and i raise alot of pots, people will be confused…i will be more agressive 4 handed than 9 handed….the less people in the tourney, the quality of the hands goes down, which means play many pots shorthanded

      any questions, email me
      WALLY7878@Juno.com

i may not be a pro, but i am up around ,000 only playing and games over the course of only 6 weeks

  28. QUESTION:
Do you think that vaccinations has a big roll in so many children having autism?
I have 2 small children, and lately I’ve been hearing so much about autism and that one factor can be vaccinations. I am terrified of having them get vaccinated now, is it okay if they don’t? will they still be allowed to go to school?

    • ANSWER:
Hello – This is Julie Duffield – valentinewiggins@juno.com.

I have two children who regressed into autism following vaccination. They were so severe, institutionalization was recommened.

When we treated the damage done by vaccines, they improved. One child is considered recovered, the other is greatly improved.

Our medical story is located at
      http://www.autismmedia.org/media10.html
scroll down ‘3’ to Julie Duffield

check out the videos by top researchers and professionals on this topic at
      http://www.autismmedia.org/media2.html

Also, you do not have to vaccinate for your children to go to school. We do not live in a communist country, and we have rights. Each state has exemptions for vaccines. Medical, philosophical, and religious exemptions. Some states do not have a philosophical exemption.

I have claimed all 3 at various times. Our doctor has signed for medical exemptions, since my son has measles virus in his brain fluid, and my daughter got HepB from her Hep B shot…
but when we moved to a new state, our new doctors wouldn’t touch the medical exemption for fear of losing their license. I have claimed religious exemption, because I’m Christian, and I believe that prayer and meditation can bring me inspiration for major decisions, including medical.

No one can predict which kids will react, and how. Some children die. The majority don’t visibly react, but have problems down the road. How do you know a child was ‘born that way’, when you give them a vaccine during their first minutes of life?

Feel free to write me for more informaiton.
      Take care,
      Julie Duffield

  29. QUESTION:
How do I add more gears to my 18-speed bike?
I have an 18 speed bike which I use for regular bike rides through country lanes. However, when going down various hills; by the time I have hit 35mph I am completely out of gears and I feel I could benefit from more gears.

How can I add more gears to my bike?

    • ANSWER:
If my guess is correct, you have three gears in front and six in back.
You will need a new rear freewheel with 8 gears (when replaced with this, it will add six more speeds(3×8 = 24) to your bike)and freewheel removal as well as a bolt down vice to use it with, (bolt to a table)you will also likely need a new (maybe) rear derailleur, a longer cable and shifter for it, and maybe a longer chain and axle. At this point it will cost around to 0.
The most restricting limits are money and the size of the frame (If the wheel and gear assembly are too large you will not be able get it back on the frame).
If you give me pictures I can help you determine what tools and parts you need and what to do with them.
You may be able to get a mechanic to do it for you; however, if were you I would just buy a new bike.
Also, I offer mail-in tune up service at a moderate fee.

Are there any free or cheap or less antivirus softwares that can remove the threat, keep it gone, and have a firewall too?

    • ANSWER:
While there are decent anti-virus programs which are free for everyone (Avast, Avira, AVG), also consider that your ISP may provide a full security suite, many of them free for subscribers.

  35. QUESTION:
Is a kodak Easyshare a good digital camera?
I had a poloroid and it messed up after 6 months and has been sent for repair. I am looking to just get a better camera. I am into photography big time and need something wonderful but not over 0. I saw a Easyshare with printer at walmart for like 0, Is it worth it for a serious photographer?

    • ANSWER:
Hi – -the Easy Share camera is justwhat the name implies . .it has been dumbed down to make picture taking relatively easy. I say relatively because their software is a little bit of a challenge to use especially if you let it do everything for you – this si where most people get really tripped up. If youdownload your files thru their easyshare system you have to be very careful to direct those files to go to exactlywhere you want them to go – and you need to make sure they are labled how youwant them to be. If you let Kodak do this for you they will go to some abstract location on your C drive – worst place to store any files! – and iif you go to open them in a reptable program like photoshop or elements then good luck locating those files!

The cameras are not too bad if you take the time to learn how to shut off all of the automatics and especially learn how to manually set the white balance.

Some of their cameras work with AA batteries – excellent when your battery runs out as a trip to the local store will get you up and shooting again quickly.

You might alsolook at the canon line of cameras as well as Sony – both have some decent cameras in this price range that would be in the 6+ megapixel range with a 8 to 10X optical zoom.

If you live in the New England area you should definately check out the various photo safaris thatare happening – it’s an excellent chance to try out gear for an afternoon — and you effectively get paid to do it!!

If you’d like to talk more about this drop me a line – I’d be happy to give you a call. Videomike@juno.com .

  38. QUESTION:
How can a teenager increase their faith?
I believe in God. I absolutely do, but my faith isn’t strong enough. I feel like God can’t solve all of my problems (my family has been in a financial crisis since forever) and I’m praying but things aren’t working out. This is making me vulnerable to Satan because I have such horrible thoughts, and imagine horrible things that I KNOW it’s coming from him. My question is, how can I improve my faith. I don’t understand a word the Bible says, I’ve been praying…what’s next?

    • ANSWER:
You need a good Bible education. I appreciate how the Bible describes faith – “Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the EVIDENT DEMONSTRATION OF REALITIES though not beheld.” – Hebrews 11:1

So true faith is not credulity, that is, it’s not blind or ready to believe something without sound evidence. Genuine faith requires basic or fundamental knowledge, acquaintance with evidence, as well as heartfelt appreciation of what that evidence indicates. It is impossible to have real faith without accurate knowledge.

Faith is a fruit of God’s spirit, and God gladly gives his spirit to those who seek it. (Galatians. 5:22; Luke 11:13) Many lack accurate Bible knowledge: The Bible is a product of God’s spirit, being inspired by God. (2 Timothy. 3:16, 17; 2 Samuel. 23:2) Failure to study it hinders any development of true faith.

Faith is strengthened when a person acts on God’s promises and then sees the evidence of God’s blessing on what he has done.—See Psalm 106:9-12.

I was 22 when I began to study the Bible and learned how to have faith. It was like an adventure as I discovered so many wonderful Bible truths and saw it answer all my questions about why things are so bad in the world, how to live life now, and the future God has purposed for humans and this beautiful planet we live on..Feel free to email me at dorcus@juno.com I’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

  39. QUESTION:
i need a no contract type of cell phone due to my credit score?
i cant afford to pay the big deposits. its crazy. i have had a trac phone before and didnt like them. i spent so much on the calling cards. any ideas please?

    • ANSWER:
Net10 ..10 cents per minute instead of .33cents more below.

I have never had a cell phone and could easily continue not to have one. I do not pay interest to anyone. I pay my bills when they are due. I do not buy things I do not need and I consolidate trips in the car. You do not need to drive to the corner store for a coke. Waste–waste not want not.
If you do not get a cell phone you can save a minumum of . every 60 days. 60 90 120 150 180 0. In just a few months see what you could have saved.
You can look at your bills and find someplaces you can cut out some unessary services or lower the service. Exa. if you have cable extras or cancel magazine subscriptions you dont even have time to read anymore. Take charge. Get out of debt.
I use NetZero.com or Juno.com for internet. You can get 10 hours free everymonth for each. and easily get a better deal. I was offered .95 without a contract.WOW
and I saw .95 offered with a 1 year contract many times.
If you cant afford it do without. Need is one thing and want is cellphone service and cable internet. Is it really worth a monthly rate of . every month even if you don’t use it.

Now back to your cell phone question.
I have not used net 10 yet. I ordered a phone. Then I will see how it goes when I go to activate it.

Go to their website net10.com check it out.

The Tracfone is cheaper to own if you only want to have a phone for emergency. . for 60 mins. minimum every 60 days to keep the phone active .33cents a minute.

The net10 is 10 cents a minute no matter how many you buy. But they start at the minimum price of .00 for 300 mins for 60 days. Big difference! To keep the phone active you must add . before the due date on the phone. If you do keep the phone active your extra mins/units rollover to the next month.

[If you pass the date on the phone you will lose any minutes left and when you reactivate with airtime you will get a new phone number.]

Net10 is now have two phones for .99 each and one refurbished v171 for .99 With 300 free minutes on any phone.[limited time]
      Which is a . Value.
So in my eyes the phone will actually be costing you . less because you were having to buy mins/units right after you bought the phone. So it can cost more to start up but if you are using the phone this seems to be the way to go.

No credit for dropped calls. Partial mins are rounded Up.
You may be charged airtime for incomplete and /or busy-no answer calls.

If you buy a larger amount of mins. the recharge time will be what is on the card which is 60 days , 600 mins. 90 days, 1000 mins 0. and 1500-minutes 0.
On the site go to terms and conditions and read the Adding Airtime. It is very clear and straight forward.
The due date will be set to the number of days on your card. If you have a 1 yr card and need more mins add a smaller card and your due date remains the same as it was before you added.
I paid tax and .95 shipping. That is the lowest cost for shipping they offered. I bought the .99 phone. [new priced at .99]
If you want the .99 phone you can get it at walmart and I suppose you will save the shipping costs. Make sure the phone has the FREE 300 mins on the label.
Good Luck and I hope your future is bright.
Check out Oprah.com get out of debt diet on the internet. If that idea appeals to you. You can do it.

Does anyone have an extra Monstery Energy Drink Ozzfest code?
I am desperately seeking an extra code for Ozzfest tickets from the specially marked boxes of Monster Energy drink. I have tried over 40 stores in my area. If some kind soul has an extra code that you’re not going to use, please e-mail me at josephj69@juno.com Thanks!

what is the best free antivirus software?
also, is it possible to install it in a usb flash disk?

    • ANSWER:
First, another user suggested that you should use more than one anti-virus program, and that, you should never do. Multiple AV programs will conflict with each other and render each other much less effective than simply using one on it’s own.

While there are decent anti-virus programs which are free for everyone (Avast, Avira, AVG), also consider that your ISP may provide a full security suite, many of them free for subscribers.

Further, by asking which is the best on this type of forum, you are going to get a lot of personal opinions, so I recommend researching anti-virus software reviews from reputable companies.

Yes, it is possible to install using a flash disk/thumb drive as long as you save the download file to it prior to running.

      Free Repairs

If you have a nice car that is really beat up, just put it back into your
garage, when you reopen the garage door the car will be in perfect
      condition.

      The Hooker Cheat
      —————-
This works with hookers to get your health up. Drive up to a hooker the
passenger side of the car and park next to her. She will bend over and
talk to you. Stay there for a while and she will get in. Then take her to
a alley or a hidden place. The car will begin to shake (wonder why) and
your health will go up. You will lose 1 dollar per health point. After a
while she’ll get out repeat the process until you have full health. This
only works when cops aren’t chasing you and it doesn’t work when driving
cop cars, semi-trucks, buses, taxis or fire trucks. So just use a normal
      car.

      Hooker Cheat Pt2
      —————-
For some real fun after she gets out get out to and kick her ass until
she’s dead. She drops all her money that she took from you. Hahahahahaha
free money, fun and most of all free health when you do this.

      Get to Staunton Island Early
      —————————-
First activate the better driving code, the one where you can jump, then
get a fast car and get to the broken bridge. In the corner where you cant
go in, there is an opening and just drive through. (First get a fast Car)
then build up speed and go all the way to then end where the bridge is
broken and press L3 to jump and you should land on the other side. HAVE
      FUN

      Advance to Staunton Island
      —————————
To advance from Portland to Staunton Island prematurely, go to the
subway. The subway should be closed off at he bottom of the stairs. Take
a car down the stairs and either crash it or park it so the door is right
next to the subway door. When you open the door to get out you will step
out and through the closed off gate. Then go down to to subway and get on
the train. It will take you to Staunton Island. It is tricky to get your
car to land near the gate but it is possible.

      Easy Cash
      ———
To get more cash just hit other cars with your car or mess up your car so
bad that it explodes then you get extra cash.

      Faster Taxis
      ————
To have faster taxis you must have 100 fares in cab game-mode. The taxis
      are at Borgnine in Harwood/Portland.

      Police Bribe
      ————
To get the police bribe you must have 45 kills in the vigilante game
mode. The bribe is in your hideout.

If your car is damaged or neally blown up take it to YOUR garge and put
it in then set fire to it with the flamethrower, save the game, come back
and your car will be in perfect condition. I did this on pc so i dont know
      how it works on ps2.

      Glitches:
      ———
      Submitted by: Mike

I have found two glitches on the second island. They allow you to go through
the wall in certain buildings and fall through nothingness and end up somewhere else.

1.The first one is in the hospital parking lot. Enter perfect handling cheat
(R1,L1,R2,L1,Left,R1,R1,Triangle), then jump onto the hospital roof across from
the stairs after that you need to jump onto the second roof. Go to the right and
drive straight off the roof into the building, you should go through the wall,
keep going until you start to fall. (If you haven’t gotten to the third island
yet, this will take you to the other side of the barrier and you can go to the
third island.) If you go through it on foot you will not land in the tunnel but
somewhere else and won’t be able to get to the third island so take a car.

2.The second glitch is at the police station. Get a police car so you can go
through the gate and get to the back of the station. when you are back there,
go to either side of the building and there will be ledges so you can walk
along the side of the building. Go to the ledge on the left side of the stairs
and walk along making sure you are pressing up against the building you should
walk through the wall. When you are through you can walk around a bit and if
you go to the far corner in the rear (where you break the guy out) you will
fall and land in front of the police station, it’s nothing spectacular and it
won’t get you to the third island but it’s cool to do.

*Since the first one is different when you do it with a car, the second one
might be too. But even with the perfect handling cheat in so you can jump,
it’s near impossible to get the right angle to get the car in there. So I
give props to anyone who does manage to do it.

      Cheat:
      ——
      Submitted by: Mike

This cheat is to get you to the other islands without having to do the
missions. first. you need a car, then you need to drive to the subway
staion in the red light district. you should see a ramp over the subway.
jump the ramp so that you fall inside. if done correctly the car should
flip over and slide between the gates. then leave the car and get on the
subway and you can go to any island. Go to a saving point and save.
The tunnels work connecting the 2nd island and the one with the airport.
if you die or get wasted then you will be sent back to portland if you
      don’t save. hope this helps

  46. QUESTION:
Any way to reduce scarring after breast surgery?
Im 18 and 38FF cup and i really despise my chest [medical reasons, bad back at 18, clothes don’t fit, unwanted attention, lost alot of weight so they don’t look good etc] when im older and have more money i want to get a breast reduction/uplift.
I have seen before and after photos of this surgery and the scarring is pretty bad looking, is there a way to correct it after the surgery or have any treatment to reduce scarring or would i just have to wait a couple of years for it to fade?

[I am aware of the risks, i have talked to parents, bf, doctors etc about the decision to have the surgery in the first place and im not asking about that and not looking for the ‘be happy with your body’ comments, anyone who has any helpful info i would really really appreciate it, thanks =) ]
I live in northern Ireland and i don’t have any insurance to cover it due to the free health care on the NHS i know i can get it there if i meet certain requirements but i think i have to be over a certain age which i’m not at the minute.

    • ANSWER:
      Hi there!!
I had a breast reduction surgery 3 years ago and went from a 40G to a 36C. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself! The change in activity level and self confidence is amazing. I’m a totally different person.

Your insurance may pay for it if you’re having back problems…I had BCBS and they did.

Most of the before and after pics you see are taken pretty soon after the surgery before the scars have healed all the way which can take a year or more. I have a tendency to scar easily but my breast scars now are barely noticable. Vitamin E rub will help only if you’re very consistant in applying it over the course of several months or longer. (I never had the discipline to apply it every day)

      Very good luck to you.

    • ANSWER:
The web site itself is Juno.com. Type Juno.com into your address bar and there you go.

NAME@juno.com is an email address, not a web site, you can not go there, but you can send an email to that address.

  48. QUESTION:
Why will juno email not work now after upgrading to IE8?
It isn’t actually me with the issue b/c I refuse to use the piece of sh!! stuff. My grandma was told her browser was going to expire (IE6 I believe) so she upgraded it to IE8, but now she’s panicking b/c she can’t get into juno.

    • ANSWER:
Having been reading over at Wiki, I’d guess she needs to update her version of Juno:

“The Juno client software version 5.0 build 33 would not work with Internet Explorer 7. However, by the time Microsoft released the final version of IE7, Juno had released Juno 5.0 build 49, which resolves the issues with IE7 and makes it compatible with Windows Vista. Version 8, compatible with Windows 7, was released in 2009. The proprietary mailers were only slightly supported in the 21st century, and users were expected to use POP3 standard mail clients.”
